Hello, Wildcats!
We are excited to celebrate Fright Week with our Wildcats and hope to see lots of participation throughout the week! Our first DMS dance is this Thursday, October 29 from 6-8pm. The theme for the dance is BLACKOUT (glow sticks will be available for purchase at the canteen) – Students are encouraged to dress in black and come ready for an evening of music, dancing, and fun with friends. Students can request songs by using the QR code in their homeroom. There will also be a song request booth set up at the dance. The entrance fee for the dance is $5. The canteen will be open, thanks to our Home and School volunteers. Students can purchase pizza, snacks, and drinks for an additional cost. It is essential that pick-up arrangements are made prior to the dance. Staff volunteer their time to make school dances possible. After a long day, prompt pick up at 8pm is appreciated.
The Haunted Classroom Returns!
After being a huge hit last year, our Haunted Classroom is making its return during this year’s Fright Dance!
For $1 admission, students can enter our Haunted Classroom and experience the spooky surprises our Student Leadership Team has planned. This is an optional activity available to students attending the dance.
Important Reminders:
- Student must be present on the day of the dance to attend.
- If a student has been suspended prior to the dance (September 8 – October 29), they are not welcome at the dance in October.
- School expectations apply to extracurricular events. We expect our Wildcats to demonstrate our PRIDE Values.
Let’s make our first dance SPOOKTACULAR!
